From the book: Worn in a bow or simple wrapped once around the neck, this is the perfect project for small amounts of two lovely yarns in complementary colors.

This skinny scarf is worked in a slipped-stitch pattern, so only one color is used in each row, which makes the diagonal stripe pattern, which is knit on the bias, much easier than it appears in the finished product.

The Blue Sky Alpacas Royal is divine; use a yarn with less drape for a crisper version of this piece.

The scarf uses about 125 to 150 yards of each of two colors of fingering weight yarns.
