Bryn Fingerless Gloves & Headband
These fingerless gloves, which bear my daughter’s middle name, are my go-to gift to knit for friends & family. Everyone loves them … a lovely but very simple 8 row cable pattern and a ribbed palm side makes them very stretchy and helps them fit most women/teens perfectly without any gaps. They look far more difficult to knit than they are in reality. You can make them as long or as short as you like by adding repeats of the pattern. You can even add a couple of border stitches for width, but no one I’ve made them for has needed this because the pattern is so forgiving.
As a BONUS, I’ve included the pattern for a matching headband with the glove pattern … it requires size 8 straight needles and another 140-150 yds of yarn
These are knit in the round using magic loop method (links to video tutorials on all techniques included in pattern, even how to k1fb!). There is just one tiny, tiny seam at the thumb join.
