This sweet hat features rounds of buds floating up to the crown and comes in sizes to fit from birth to large adult. The buds are created by picking up loops of yarn through stitches below, full written instructions are included with the pattern.

Construction
Two PDF’s are available, one for knitting in the round and one for working the hat flat and then seaming it up. Both versions are worked from the brim up to the crown.

Sizing
Newborn: 35cm / 13.75”
6-12 months: 40cm / 15.75”
1-2 years: 45cm / 17.75”
2-4 years: 50cm / 19.75”
4 years-Teen: 55cm / 21.5”
Adult Medium: 60cm / 23.5”
Adult Large: 64cm / 25.25”

This hat has approximately 3-5cm / 1.25-2” negative ease built into the pattern. Ages given are just a suggestion so please take the time to measure the head circumference of the recipient and select the size closest.

Gauge
Knit in the round, 22 stitches by 30 rows over 10cm / 4 inches in stocking stitch.
