Well, it’s almost officially Spring, yet it’s cold and dreary outside. If you are like me, you long for warm weather and colorful blooms in your flower bed. Get one up on Mother Nature and make your own Budding Beauty, a lovely lace scarf in a lightweight yarn.

Left and right sides of the scarf are made individually for symmetry, and then joined together with a loosely done 3-needle bind-off. I recommend loosening up your needle size for this.

The edging is a part of the scarf, so it doesn’t need to be knitted on later. Just bind-off block out and proclaim that Spring has Sprung!!
