This is an advanced pattern, worked in feltable wool yarn, and is knitted on size 10 ½ needles. For a bicolored, tabby striped cat, this pattern uses approximately 125 yards of tan(t), approximately 120 yards of white(w), approximately 20 yards of light pink wool yarn for the nose and ears and approximately 75 yards of white or scrap yarn for fillers. I used knitted fillers for the tail and front legs to make stuffing tight areas easier and more even. The knitted fillers are optional, you can choose to just use stuffing instead. This pattern in worked in stockinette, intarsia, I-cord, and short rows. The finished project if fulled in the washer. Much of the Tabby striping is added with embroidery stitching. Gauge for regular sized stuffy is 3.5 stitches and 5 rows per inch.

You can use smaller needles and finer yarn for a smaller finished stuffy. Sport weight yarn and size 2 needles will result in a fist sized cat.
