From the book: Difficulty level: For experienced knitters. “Margaret Stove’s colorful design is built block by block with a series of squares and rectangles knit in a basic knit/purl design. The blocks are then sewn together and finished with a garter-stitch border.”

Yarn Notes: The pattern calls the following amounts of Plymouth Encore yarn: 3 balls green; 2 balls red; 2 balls blue; 1 ball black; 1 ball white; and 1 ball yellow.

Pattern Notes: “1) Pattern is knit in various strips, then sewn tog. 2) When working color motifs, use a separate bobbin of yarn for each block of color. 3) If desired, work small areasw of color in Duplicate st.”
