This is a CROCHET PATTERN for my Bulky Elephant Blanket for Two. Now includes CHILD SIZE PATTERN! It is a whimsical blanket made for two people to share! The top of the blanket lays flat across your body, while each elephant leg is a cocoon for one person’s calves and feet. Of course, if you don’t want to share, you could put one of your feet in each elephant leg!
The adult size is made with 3 strands of worsted weight yarn held together, and the child size is made with 2 strands. This blanket is bulky and warm and works up quickly! Perfect for snuggling on the couch!

Gauge is about 7 stitches and 5 rows to 4 inches using a 12mm hook and hdc. .

For the adult size, I used about 11 skeins Bernat Super Value Yarn in True Grey. I purchased 12 and had about 1/2 of each the last three left over. You could purchase 11 and use the last skein from both ends at the same time.
Red Heart Super Saver in Grey Heather is a suggested alternative. One strand of bulky yarn may be substituted for 3 strands of worsted weight.
Child size uses 8 skeins of grey and 9mm hook. I Love This Yarn by Hobby Lobby is a nice option.
