This cute beret is a top down, easy to crochet hat. I originally designed this hat for my Beginner Crochet Class

Sample was crochet with Malabrigo Rios - it’s a superwash that has beautiful colors and is incredibly soft!

This hat can accommodate many sizes of heads. The main body is worked on a 5.5mm / US9. The brim of the hat is what determines the size of the hat.

5mm / US8 - 20 Inch Head
5.5mm / US9 - 21 Inch Head
6mm / US10 - 22 inch Head

The sample was crochet with a 5.5 for the main body and a 5mm / US8 for a 20 Inch head.

The pattern finishes off using the reverse crab stitch to finish the edges with a bit of decorative trim.
