PDF knitting pattern for a pair of fingerless mitts/gloves with a rabbit on the front of each glove. The palm sides of the gloves are plain. There is a picot edging at the bottom of the wrist rib and at the top of each glove.

The mitts in the photographs were knitted in Regia 4-fadig 4ply in Colour 02743, which is light denim blue. The bunny is in white Rowan pure wool 4ply and has a rose pink nose and interior of one ear. There is pale pink division between the two ears and between body and bob-tail.

The gloves could be knitted in any 4ply weight wool, cashmere or cotton.

The motifs are knitted using the intarsia method, but the mitts could be knitted in plain stocking stitch and the pattern added afterwards using duplicate stitch/Swiss darning.

Charts for both left and right mitt are included, together with typed knitting instructions. The pattern comprises of two PDFs. One is A4 size in portrait layout and comprises of the typed knitting instructions and chart symbols. The other is A4 size in landscape layout and comprises of charts for both left and right mitt in black-and-white symbols and in colour.

The approximate measurements for the mitts are: 8.5cm/3.25” wide (unstretched and not counting the thumb), 13.5cm/5.25” long from top of rib to longest part of picot cast-off edge and 3cm/1.25”deep rib measured from longest part of picot cast-on edge. The mitts could be made slightly larger or smaller by altering the size of the needles
