Bunny’s Lace Shawlette begins at center back and is worked downward. The shawlette consists of two lace patterns, both of which are charted with extra increases, to provide a crescent flare. The beginning lace is an easy pattern of tiny leaves which transitions to a cascading larger leaf motif. The lower edging creates eyelet points. A center back panel mirrors the lace patterns.
Experience with top-down shawl construction is helpful. this pattern is charted.
9/24/2012 Original pattern reformatted and charted with proper software. Second version added to pattern: larger shawl with revised leaf lace, 72” by 28”, requires 700 yd. of fingering weight yarn.
