This is a simple and quick knit using worsted weight yarn (sample in Cascade 220). It is knit top up and the finished product is very stretchy, fitting a wide variety of head sizes. The pattern is written using typical abbreviations and is laid out very clearly in round-by-round instructions. The main body is knit on 16” circular needles, switching to double pointed needles once you are into the decreases. The gauge is measured in pattern, and should be 4 sts/inch.
