My boyfriend gave these socks the name, but of course they are not only for tough outdoor freaks.
The pattern is just as suitable for elegant ladies socks, colourful everyday socks or whatever type of socks you like.

The easy, yet interesting slip-stitch pattern gives these socks
a great textured look and a good fit.

The socks are knitted cuff down with a heel flap and gusset and a wedge toe. Three sizes available: 56 / 64 / 72 stitches.
To adjust the length of leg and/or foot you can knit more or fewer rounds/pattern repeats.

Written and charted instructions are included.
All measurements are listed in inches and centimeters.

Brown sample socks (men’s shoe size US 9 / UK 8 / EU 42):
64 stitches, foot length about 10.4 in (26.5 cm),
about 2.8 oz (80 g) / 341 yds (312 m)

Many thanks to my great test knitters Maike (mawie), Renate (maigrun), Carina (MucklPu1986), Rahel and her mother.
