This is an EASY pattern! NO CROCHETING IN THE ROUND! No increases or decreases. Simple dc stitches and chain spaces! There is a button loop created from chain stitches, so you don’t even need to make a button hole!

**MATERIALS**

• 10 oz / 500 yds worsted weight (medium weight 4) yarn (I used 2 SKEINS LION BRAND YARNS Heartland, color: VOYAGEURS),

• Size US J 10 (6.00 mm) crochet hook – or hook size needed to obtain gauge;

• Size 7.00 mm crochet hook – or hook one size larger than hook size needed to obtain gauge. This hook is used for the base chain only;

• One large-ish’ button (I used a 29 mm button).

**STITCH OVERVIEW**

The Bussin-Beginners Cowl-Scarf has a unique, yet simple construction. It consists of a neck tube, a neck tube tail, one button loop, and one button.

The cowl’s stitch pattern is dc stitches and chain spaces.

**FINISHED MEASUREMENTS**

When Worn (Gathered): from top at neck to bottom of V-shape in front: approximately 18”; V-shape at widest point (gathered on shoulders): approximately 14”.

**SIZE ADJUSTMENTS**

This pattern is written for one-size-fits-many, but easy guidelines are given to adjust the size.
