This lacy and busy triangular shawl is slightly asymmetrical and is worked from one side corner to the other side edge. The shawl includes 5 different lace patterns - a panel running on one side edge, an edging finishing the other and 3 different lace patterns growing with the shawl one after another. The shawl is inspired by Haapsalu shawl patterns, one of which is called “The Most Beautiful Shawl Pattern” :)

Pattern includes written instructions as well as charts.

Finished measurements of the shawl: approx 80” / 203 cm wide and 37” / 94 cm long at center.

The size of this shawl is adjustable, but keep in mind that the smaller you make it the more asymmetrical it gets.

Gauge: 25 sts/38 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch using US 2.5/3mm needles (matching exact gauge is not essential, but it will affect finished measurements of shawl and amount of yarn needed).

Required skills: k, p, yo, k2tog, k3tog, ssk, sk2po, 3 into 3 (3 gathered sts).
