Construction:
An updated take on a classic beanie-style hat, Butchers Hill features a panel of cabled stitches running the entire length of the hat. This hat is knit in the round from the bottom-up and comes in sizes that stretch to fit 12” through 25” heads.

Please note that the pattern includes two pdf files; one for adult sizes and one for baby sizes.

Sizes: newborn, (9-12 months, 18-24 months, small adult, large adult).
Finished circumferences: 12” (14”, 16”, 18”, 20”) un-stretched and stretches to fit 12-14” (14-16”, 18-20”, 21-23”, 23-25”).
Finished hat heights: 5 ½” (6”, 6 ½”, 8”, 8 ¾”).

  • US 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

  • 80 (90, 100, 150, 180) yards of DK weight yarn Shown in: Hikoo by Skacel Collection, Simplicity (55% Merino, 28% Acrylic, 17% Nylon) color 037 (gray) in newborn and adult small sizes. Cephalopod Yarns, Traveller (100% Merino), 1 skein, color Y056 Dark Waters in Adult large size.
