Buttercup is a sweet baby doll made in one piece starting with the feet, with the arms crocheted in as you go.

Update 8/31/17: I’ve added additional alternative instructions for round hands and feet using a magic ring, for those that have trouble making get oval shapes in the original version.

The pictured doll was made using Sugar n’ Cream cotton yarn in the colors, soft ecru, chamomile scents, and cream. I used a 3mm hook, and she measures approximately 9 inches tall, however others have made her using larger hooks with finished dolls up to 13 inches tall.

You can use any yarn and hook desired as long as you use a hook small enough that the stuffing will not show through your stitches.

The size of your finished doll may vary depending on the yarn weight and hook size you choose.

Feel free to sell items made from my patterns but I would appreciate a link back to my pattern when doing so.

Enjoy! :)
