When I first worked up the buttered toast scarf, I was so excited! I could smell hot toast while I crocheted it. And there’s nothing like the scent of warm bread! Although I have slightly refined the shape of the toast pieces since then, this pattern is essentially the same as the original. This pattern is fairly simple. The hardest part is sewing the toasts together so that they all lie straight and pretty. I will try to provide as many diagrams as possible to make this easier for you. Just remember: When sewing pieces together or weaving in your ends , there’s no need to pull super-tight. Make sure everything lies naturally.
