This hat was designed for one of my daughter’s friends named Corinne. This pattern will produce two versions of the hat, one with beads and one without. It will fit an average to large size adult head.

Materials are about 225 yards (206 meters) of any fingering weight yarn. A US size 1 (2.25mm) and US size 3 (3.25mm) 16” (40.64 cm) circular needle, and US 3 double points (or preferred method of working in the round) for when the hat no longer fits on the circular needle. The beaded version uses about 160 size 6/0 beads and your preferred method of beading (crochet hook, floss, etc.)

The directions for both versions are written out separately and there is a photo tutorial for the “wrap” stitch.
