This is a PDF format Crochet pattern for a Butterfly and its cocoon.

A lovely quirky creation that allows you to fold your butterfly wings and snuggle into a Cocoon.

It is a simple Amigurumi design and requires you to work in Rounds.

You will need a size 3mm hook and recommended Yarn ‘Drops Love you 6’ This is a 100% cotton yarn and is always recommended when creating Amigurumi items as it holds its shape and will not stretch as Acrylic or blends of yarns do.

The amounts of yarn you will use are minimal so a great stash buster. As well as a small amount of stuffing, along with Safety eyes if you chose to finish off your butterfly with these type of eyes.

The instructions are Step by Step without images, it does not require any completed steps that require supporting images.

As long as you know how to Sc (single crochet) and do simple Sc2tog (Single Crochet 2 together) and Increase using 2 Sc in one stitch
