Summertime is approaching! Baby girls need some kind of foot jewelry all their own. So, these barefoot baby sandals are perfect. Your baby girl will certainly make a fashion statement wearing these. The toe loop goes around the 2nd toe and the ankle ties tie in the back above the heel. For an even different look, the ankle ties can be made longer and wrapped around the ankle in a ballerina fashion making them oh so cute!

Use heavier weight cotton threads or yarns for many sizes up to toddlers. Featured photos are made using #10 cotton crochet thread. Another great idea with this pattern is to leave off the toe loop and ankle ties for a super quick applique or embellishment to use on other projects such as headbands, hats, clothing, scrapbooking, etc.
