Warm, cozy and quick to knit, this cape poncho is constructed seamlessly from the top down in Super Bulky yarn. Because of the very big gauge, no buttonholes are required – you can fasten the buttons by pressing them through the stitches themselves.

One size fits most. Makes a great last minute gift. You will need an extra long circular needle to hold all the stitches! I used a 58” (148cm) one.

Stitches Used:
knit (K), purl (P), make 1 right/left (M1R/M1L), slip purlwise with yarn in front (slP)

Materials:

  • Super Bulky weight yarn, about 560 – 570 yards
  • size US 17 (12.00mm) extra long circular needles
  • 15 extra large stitch markers
  • 4 large buttons – about 1.25” (3cm) diameter
