This classic skirt is worked with a deep ribbed waist to give it a neat fit, and adorned with colourful butterflies.

All the colourwork is charted and the skirt is gently shaped from the hem to the waist.

Needles & accessories:
1 pair of 3.25mm (US 3) straight knitting needles
Due to the large number of stitches on the needles at hem you may find it easier to use a circular needle at least 60cm (23.5in) long.

Finished measurements:
Back waist (width): 34 (37.5, 42.5) cm/ 13.25 (14.75, 16.75) in
Top of back hips (width): 42 (49.5, 59.5) cm/ 16.5 (19.5, 23.5) in
Bottom hem (width): 61 (70, 79) cm/ 24 (27.5, 31) in
Length: 60cm/ 23.5in all sizes

ERRATA: p54. On the sizing table it reads ‘Actual hip measurement of skirt’. This should read ‘Actual waist measurement of skirt’.
