Close Fitting Pullover featuring a butterfly wings panel worked on both front and back, with raglan Sleeves, turtle-neck, long sleeves and optional waist shaping. This sweater is designed to be close-fitting (2.5cm / 1in body ease).

The illustration has been knitted using Ice Yarns California Wool, any Chunky / Bulky yarn that knits to the specified gauge of 15 sts and 19 rows to 4in (10cm) may be used.

The main body of the garment is worked in Stocking Stitch, with the butterfly wings panel worked on the centre of the back and front. Instructions for the butterfly wing panel are given in chart form. Double rib is used for the edgings and neck.

The instructions are for flat knitting the back, front and sleeves separately from the bottom up. The neckband is formed by picking up stitches around the neckline after the right shoulder seam has been joined.
