This cowl or scarf is worked in an alpaca rich, hand-dyed yarn in a stitch pattern that is reversible, being subtly different each side. You can wear it as a longer scarf or a shorter cowl. Work to a length that suits you for a small cowl.
A very soft yarn is recommended, and it would suit 100% alpaca. It would also work well in a solid
colour.
Use different buttons each side to create a different look, depending on which side you have out. Or use a mix of buttons from your button box for a quirky look.
You can twist it to form a variation on the Moebius strip by altering the side you button it from.
