A perfect chance to use some of the fun buttons in your button stash.

Faux button hole mitts. The pattern is worked in the round and back and forth. Buttons can be matched or mixed. I would say that this pattern is intermediate, or for an adventurous beginner that knows how to knit in the round.

The pattern is for a women’s medium, but will convert to a smaller size with the use of lighter weight yarn.

About 60g of worsted weight yarn (or DK for a tighter fit, and slightly smaller mitts, Aran weight for slightly larger mitts)
3.5mm (US 4) needles. I used DPNs. (again, if you want them smaller or larger, go up or down on your needle size)
6 - ½” buttons
Waste yarn
4 Stitch markers

I will happily answer any questions.
