Now you’re all set for the cold winter to come. With this comfy button scarf and matching pulse warmers, you and your loved ones will always be kept warm nicely – and look stylish at the same time.

The pattern is attractive in its elegance and simplicity and is therefore an ideal project especially for beginners. There’s also no need for button holes as the buttons will fit in any place you want – giving you a variety of ways to button this scarf

Using the same pattern, you can also make a headband, leg warmers or even a hand muff. You’ll see how easy it is. Just give it a try!

Size With the number of stitches indicated in this pattern, the scarf will turn out to be approx. 49 in / 125 cm long and 9.5 in / 24 cm wide. The pulse warmers will be 8 in / 20 cm long and have a circumference of 8.6 in / 22 cm.
However, these measurements are just an example – you’ll see that the pattern can easily be adjusted to any size you want.

Difficulty Level: easy, suitable for beginners

Stitches/ techniques used:
single crochet, double crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch

Material:

• Crochet hook size 6,0

• Ca. 220 g yarn – e.g. Rico Essentials Alpaca Blend Chunky, color „Powder“ (82 yds / 1.75 oz or 90 m / 50 g) – you may, of course, also use any other type of yarn and crochet hook in matching size

• 5 buttons (diameter ca. 25 mm) – if you’re using a bigger or smaller yarn, your buttons might need to be a bit bigger or smaller as well

Gauge:
10 x 10 cm = 14 stiches x 19 rows
Don’t worry if your gauge doesn’t match 100% here – the important thing is that you found a yarn you really love 
