This BUXOM BABE is a crocheted doll sure to bring laughs. We all know someone of whom this doll reminds us! I made her using Red Heart Super Saver Acrylic worsted weight yarn and a US Size E (3.5mm) crochet hook so that the fabric is nice and tight and the stuffing does not show through. She is 14” or 35/5cm tall. However, you could use ANY weight yarn, provided that you use a crochet hook that is about 2 sizes smaller than the one recommended on your yarn label. My gauge is 5sts/in and 5 rows/in. but gauge size is not critical in this doll pattern. I used less than one skein of each of the colors used. I used safety eyes and bedazzled her by gluing on fake eyelashes and adding beaded jewelry and a red, heart shaped foam sticker for her mouth. You could also use embroidery to add her eyes and mouth, or cut and sew on pieces of felt. You can also adorn her with accessories, like purses and such… use your imagination! The sky is the limit!
