The Byerly Sock was designed to be a tasteful entry into stranded colorwork.

Using less than 10 yards per band of contrast colors, this cuff down sock can be customized to use those oddments of yarn you have left over from other projects. Use one, two or more contrasting colors to make the sock uniquely your own.

The ribbed cuff, slip stitch heel flap, gusset and toe are all worked in only the main color, allowing you to focus on the shaping and not juggling multiple balls of yarn.

Instructions are given for both a 64 and 72 stitch cast on, with stitch marker placements suggested for separating instep from insole stitches during gusset and toe shaping.
