Kaffe Fassett design worked in 22 shades of Rowan Lightweight Double Knitting. This yarn was available in a palette of two hundred colours and spun from Falklands Island wool in crisp clean shades. Sweater requires a total of 38 skeins.

Offered in one size with a finished measurement of 48 inches. Back and front are worked flat in one piece with sleeves being worked downwards from the body of the sweater.

When working the main pattern yarns for the background stripes and for outlining the crosses are carried loosely across the back of the work with separate lengths of yarn used for the crosses, linking them to the background yarns by twisting them around each other where they meet on the wrong side.
