If you have always wanted to make a top-down pullover but thought it might be too hard, there is good news!
Byzantium Top is a top-down pullover with kimono sleeves, which is ridiculously easy to knit.
The upper back along with sleeves are worked back and forth, starting at the shoulder line with Provisional CO. Shoulders are shaped using short-rows. After back/sleeves completion, previously invisibly CO stitches are used for front/sleeves. The two pieces are then joined and the lower body is worked in the round in one piece to the lower edge.
Under-sleeve stitches are joined using Kitchener stitch.
Knitted in Stockinette stitch, this top features an eye-catching, but extremely easy to execute knit and purl arabesque motif, which gave a name to this design.
The curved hi-lo hem adds a modern edge to the whole look.

I recommend using light colors to make the textured motif is visible and pronounced.
