C A E S I U S is a free easy pattern for a quick cabled slouchy beanie. It is knit in the round and can be completed in a few days (or hours!). The texture used in this version of the pattern is a made by yarn overs and slipped stitches.

C A E S I U S is named after (part of) the scientific name for the of the rubus caesius, a type of blackberry.

I hope you enjoy making this hat as much as I did. I am fairly new to pattern writing, please let me know if you find an errata in the pattern, I will help to fix it as soon as I can.
