CROCHET PATTERN #C-029: CATALINA Cowl

PDF FILE will be available for immediate download once your payment has fully processed.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate

This is a quick crochet project (one hour!) that makes a great gift and is also a stash buster. A beautiful accessory for those warmer days when you just want to add a little accessory to spruce up an outfit. It starts out with creating a triangle and then connecting and adding the picot trim.

This pattern is definitely not for the beginner crocheter, but an advanced beginner can certainly tackle this with taking it slow and making sure to read all the instructions clearly and all the way through. The even rows get an extra increase but they are not always made at the same spot, so reading carefully is essential.

Basic crochet stitches used with common abbreviations……. in standard AMERICAN crochet terms,
plus a couple of special stitches (OVS and picot) that are explained.

Hook size(s): J/10 (6.0 mm) crochet hook.

Yarn: heavy worsted or aran weight yarn, 90 yards for solid color … or 70 yards MC and 20 yards CC.
