A simple heart for corner-to-corner crochet projects. This can easily be used as the center panel in a newborn lovey (as pictured), or any number of other projects: pillows, afghan squares, etc.

Please be advised, this is a pattern only for the heart itself and immediately surrounding squares as shown in the sample. I do not include directions for learning the C2C method as this pattern assumes your prior knowledge of C2C, the manner in which you increase, maintain count and decrease. As for edging, I trimmed mine with two rounds of sc and three rounds of traditional granny square clusters.
