Cabana lll ~ A chevron stitched skirt with matching top.

Part of The Christmas Collection which includes:

Noel ~ a fur trimmed hooded coat with collar option and
Juliette ~ a festive fur trimmed holiday cloak with capelet option
The Christmas Collection was born of the desire to fashion holiday ensembles inspired by the popular ‘White Christmas’ starring Bing Crosby. Each designed to coordinate with each other for complete ensembles .

The pattern offers easy to read written instructions which includes the placement for the fur trim. I made use of Bernat Pipsqueak for the fur trim and paired with the capelet of Juliette for a complete look

Designer’s Note:
Worked flat, back and forth in rows

Designed to fit:
American Girl Dolls, 18” Gotz Dolls like my model

Experience Level:
Beginner - Easy: Project using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and simple shaping and finishing.

Materials:
150 – 180 yards of medium worsted weight yarn #4 used for main color
10 yards (approx) of bulky textured yarn used for the fur accents

Notions: 4 Buttons size 3 ½” (12mm)
Darning Needle, Small Crochet Hook ~ hook used for button loops

Construction: Both pieces are worked from the bottom up, the skirt is seamed with a single button-loop closure at the back, the top is worked in one piece to armholes, then each section worked individually
