From the source: “Bring your favorite garden flowers indoors with these charming cushions. The textured petals are simple and fun to make by working into the remaining front loops after the cushion base is complete.”

This is a 16” round cushion with a textured front, designed to resemble the petals of a cabbage rose. There are two versions shown in the pattern. In both cases, the crochet hook is a 5.5mm (I). As this was designed to use with Bernat’s Waverly yarn, each ball is assumed to be worsted-weight and is 197 yards / 180m.

Version 1 is a single-colour cushion, and takes 3 balls of yarn.

Version 2 uses three colours, and requires 1 ball of the central colour, 1 ball of the middle colour, and 2 balls for the outer colour and cushion base. (4 balls total.)
