A quick knit in aran-weight yarn, Cable Attraction features richly cabled (and surprisingly easy) panels that are irresistibly drawn to one another as they travel upward. Watching the cables take shape makes the knitting fun, and almost all of the cable crossings can be worked without a cable needle.

The finished cowl has a bandana shape that naturally molds itself to your body, shielding you from winter’s chill. Just fold the top of the cowl down inside for structure and a double layer of warmth. Instructions are provided for two cozy sizes; you can try the cowl on as you knit to decide which one is best for you.

Instructions are fully written, with optional charts.

Construction

Cable Attraction is knitted in the round from the bottom up. Decreases at the center front allow the cables to grow toward one another, creating a tapered bandana shape.

Size Small is shown lying flat. Size Large has one additional cable repeat and is shown on a mannequin.
