Cable Beanie
This cozy cabled beanie is knit in the round from the bottom up, starting with a patterned rib. The cable pattern is a simple one that would be very suitable for those new to cabling, and the way they taper towards the crown will give you a very neat looking beanie. The snug shape will keep your head warm, and would look great with a pom pom too!
Size: Medium adult
To fit head: 55cm
Yarn: Cascade 220 (200m/100g), or any 10ply yarn
Quantity: Approximately 125m - plus extra for pompom
Needles: 4mm and 4.5mm (or size to obtain gauge) circular needles or dpn’s to work in the round and for crown shaping.
Gauge: 22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm in cable pattern on larger needles slightly stretched.
Materials: Cable Needle, Stitch marker, yarn needle for sewing in ends.
