This pattern combines two of my knitting loves: cables and cowls. Note that when casting on this cowl, it may seem quite large; however, the cables will pull in the cowl for a cozy fit, what Cookie A refers to as the ‘cable suckage factor’.

Level: Intermediate/Experienced

Materials:

  • Size 4.5mm (US 7) circular or double pointed needles or size to obtain gauge; please note that I am a loose knitter so it might be useful to go up to size 5mm (US 8).
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle

Yarn: 1 skein Malabrigo Merino Worsted (approx. 210 yards /100g skein) or any other worsted weight yarn (modeled in Sapphire Green)
