Item number 8 in the book (pictured on the back cover) is Cable Hat, Mittens, Scarf and Socks. This pattern entry on Ravelry is for the hat only.

Hat requires US 7 and US 8 needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Also, a cable needle. (Other projects in this set require other needles.) The hat is seamed, rather than worked in the round.

The patterns for the set are rated “intermediate” in difficulty.
