This knitting pattern is for a cable headband knitted in worsted or aran weight yarn.

This ear warmer headband is 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide in all sizes, which is large enough to comfortably cover and protect the ears against cold winds.

Easy instructions including 5 sizes ranging from Toddler/Child (head size 18 inches - 45 cm) to Large Adult (head size 25 inches - 64 cm).

Once you’ve made one of these headbands for yourself you’ll want to make more for your friends and family, or even more for yourself in different colours;)

You will get one PDF file by instant download: the English language instructions are on the first 3 pages and the French instructions are on the following 3 pages (total memory space required for the file: 724 KB).

This pattern is suitable for a knitter with beginning to intermediate skills, with cable pattern knitting.

If you have never knitted cables before, do not be afraid as it is easier than it looks, and I have provided very clear instructions in the pattern.

In order to knit this headband pattern you will need the following materials:
1 ball of Aran or medium worsted knitting yarn.
The headband shown here was knit using 1 ball of Drops Nepal (65% Wool, 35% Alpaca – 50g/75m per ball).
US size 8 (5mm) knitting needles,
1 US size 8 (5mm) cable needle,
1 tapestry needle or a 3.75mm (F) crochet hook for finishing.
