This cabled beauty starts off with a single crochet through front loop only main body that is worked side-to-side. Sweetly decorative cables are added to the top and bottom edges.

Fully customizable: first sample is 72”X19”; second sample is 65”X18” Add more rows/increases or work fewer rows to fully customize the size. The cables are added on in a join-as-you-go method after the main body is completed.

Three small cable patterns and three large cable patterns are provided in the pattern from which to choose so you can customize your shawl.

The first shawl sample uses 2 skeins of Loops and Threads Woolike: 1 skein of Teal and 1 skein of Beige

The second shawl sample uses 5 skeins of Berocco Folio: 3 skeins of grey and 2 skeins of Tea Rose

Or use 500 yds of fingering weight yarn for the main body and 400 yards of fingering weight for the edgings.

2 Hooks are needed for this pattern. The main body is worked with an H/5.00mm, and F/3.75mm is used for the edgings.

Pattern uses US terminology. Written and charted.

*It is highly recommended that you be familiar with the ghost stitch method (tutorial offered for free in my Ravelry store) to get the cable results shown in the photo samples. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/beautiful-cables-...
