This super chunky blanket is ideal for dressing your bed and keeping your toes warm. Or throw it across your sofa for TV snuggle time. The oversized cables create little pockets of heat, so it’s lovely and warm and it’s sure to add impact to any room.

Instructions for 3 sizes are included:

Small size 120 x 150 cm (47 x 59 inches), or 4ft by 5ft. 3 cables. This size makes a great throw for your sofa or end of bed.
Queen size 160 x 190 cm (63 x 75 inches), or 5ft by 6ft. 4 cables. This size should cover a queen size double bed.
King size 170 x 200 cm (67 x 79 inches), or 5.5ft by 6.5ft. 5 cables. This size should cover a king size double bed, with a 6 inch drape over each side.

Please note - sizes give are approximate - actual finished size depends on the yarn, needles, and each knitter’s tension!

Needle size: 24mm diameter needles. For the Queen and King size, you really need circular needles in this size.
If you have a cable needle of the same size, great. If not, don’t worry, you can just use your finger to cable. That’s what I do.

Yarn - I use Cygnet Seriously Chunky, which according to the ball band is for needle size 10-12 or US 15. Any equivalent yarn should be fine. Remember you are using a double strand.

If you can find any larger yarns, such as Flump or Mammoth from www.woollymahoosive.com, you will only need a single strand.
