A simple cable-knit scarf pattern, with clear instructions, perfect for beginners who want more than a stockinette stitch scarf!

For this pattern, you will need:
• Yarn – I used a DK/8ply yarn in red. (Light-worsted weight) But you can use any weight yarn, as gauge is unimportant.
• A pair of knitting needles – I used 5mm (USA 8), but you will need needles appropriate for the yarn you’re working with.
• Cable needle
• Yarn needle for sewing in ends.
