From pattern: “Knit with one skein of a very soft merino wool, this cable scarf can be tucked around your neck under your coat. For a longer scarf, purchase additional yarn.

Cable scarves will naturally fold over at the point where the edging ends, much like Stockinette St rolls. You will need to block this scarf if this bothers you. Be sure you knit with a natural fiber, as acrylics or yarns with high acrylic content do not block well. Even after blocking, you may find it still folds over. If this occurs, work a round of single crochet around the entire scarf.“*
