This cute warm hat combines softness and shape.
To achieve this I used cable stitches and wool/alpaca DROPS Nepal yarn.
It is available in approx. 58 size, but it will fit any size, if you make the rib a bit wider or narrower.
To knit it you will need approx. 225 m of aran yarn (3 skeins of DROPS Nepal).
It is knitted top down, finished with 2x2 rib and i-cord.
The crown shape is formed by pleats (some detailed photos in the pattern will help you), which complete the cable pattern and give the shape and steadiness to the hat.
The pompom is made of the same yarn but I think even the contrast color would look great. For example, the pompom made with shade 0618 would fit shade 6220.
