A little color goes a long way, at least if you’re the parent of a premature baby. Hospitals are rallying the knitting communities to get as many tiny, colorful blankets for the infants as possible.
Luckily, as they’re small, produ-cing a handfull is no trouble at all, and as an added bonus I managed to reduce my vast heaps of cotton yarn.

The blanket is done using the domino-technique.
Dominoknitting is not only squares, it can be made in any form, so long as the shapes are knitted together as the work progres-ses. The blanket is worked as panels on which stitches are knitted up to knit the next panel as it goes along.
