Pattern is written, no charts included (sizes for Small and Large are in parenthesis). This pattern includes instructions for an all knit hat, or knitting with a combination of basic crochet. Optional brim instructions included are for the combination of knitting and crochet (not the all knit hat).

This is a great hat because it is a beanie and also a slouch hat (it expands and contracts based on whether you put your hair up in the hat or leave it down)

You may use any acrylic yarn for this hat. Lion Brand Wool Ease Chunky yarn or any chunky also knits up well for the small and medium size hat.
