My first design, after browsing through diverse pattern libraries.
It has a neat little bow design in the middle, made by dropped yarn overs that are later picked up again and a cable design filled with a seed stitch on both sides of the bow.
This can easily be made into a cowl by repeating the design with added bridges in between until required width and knitting in the round.

I will post more pictures as I test-knit (the picture so far shows only the first repeat (= the charted pattern).
I used Yak from Lang Yarns in aubergine on 5mm circulars for the test knit.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions!

Since this has the dreaded purl two together through the back loop AND knit into the back loop of yarnovers I suggest either very pointy needles or loose knitting!

If you want the cables and bow to stand out more, flip knits and purls on the bridge part, so that the designs lie on a purled stockinette ground.
