A lovely, boxy sweater, with dropped shoulders and a striking cable down the front, flanked with honeycomb cables. The kind of sweater that makes you feel really cosy.
A quick knit with DK held double or a nice bulky yarn. Bottom up, no seams.

Originally knitted in Moeke Yarns Elena, with a double strand, a lovely rustic yarn, I love wearing it.
Test knitters used Blacker Yarns Brushwork (double strand), Drops Eskimo, Cascade Ecological wool and they all love the result.

This sweater is supposed to be oversized, so choose between 4”/10 cm and 10”/25 cm of positive ease.

YARN
Moeke Yarns Elena (held double): Size1: 650 gram; Size 2: 750 gram; Size 3: 900 gram.
If you use different yarn, you should use worsted to bulky wool, with a 100-150 meters per 100 gram ratio.
You’ll need 1025 meter for size 1, 1240 meter for size 2 and 1460 meter for size 3.
Or you could use a double strand of DK weight wool and you’ll need 2150 meter for size 1, 2500 meter for size 2 and 2950 meter for size 3.
There is some wiggle room to make a swatch.
