Elegant yet simple new design for a felted handbag. Braided handle mimics the cable design on the sides of purse. Knitted in the round; holding two strands of yarn together; the pattern has lots of pictures to keep the instructions simple for advanced beginners or more experienced knitters.

Excellent project for gift giving. Several people have requested that I make them one of these handbags as gifts before the pattern was even published. I’m happy to respond to private messages if anyone has questions.

The finished dimensions after felting: Bottom measures 10 inches by 5 inches. The purse is 8 inches tall.
